As we start a new school year, here at Starfish Malawi we've been thankful for all that God has done and given to our sponsored students over the last year. A lot of this is down to our amazing sponsors so a big thank you to you all.
We've had some amazing stories from Malawi this month but we were only able to pick just 3...
Arrival of the Container
After months of waiting, the container finally arrived in Lilongwe on the 8th September. It was jam packed with generous gifts and items donated and given by our tremendous supporters. We thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

Summer School In Malawi - A Report from Ali Beckett
I have been working with the oldest children in the four nurseries since I arrived in March. Children in Malawi start school at six so the nursery children I mainly focus on are the five year olds. This is perfect for me as in England teaching reception children was always my favourite age to teach!
As the long 'summer holiday ' approached God dropped into my mind the thought of organising a special Summer School for these children to prepare them for starting school in September. It has been an exciting success.....
