Schoolgirls become young ambassadors for global school campaign

Two schoolgirls have won this year’s Steve Sinnott award to become the Young Ambassadors for the Send My Friend to School campaign. They will travel to Uganda on a fact-finding mission next month as part of their role.

On their return to the UK, they will use their first-hand experience of the issue to begin the job of inspiring other pupils to get involved with the campaign, via social media and regional school events.
