Pretoria-born Robyn Shorrock is a Graphic Designer, Artist, Arts Consultant, Single Parent, and active supporter of Social-Conscious Awareness. After matriculating from Pretoria High School for Girls, Robyn moved to Johannesburg where she worked in the Marketing and Communications department of the University of the Witwatersrand, one of South Africa's premier educational institutions, for five years. In this position, Robyn met a variety of people from ranging from celebrities to political movers and shakers who inspired her with their lectures and active involvement in the community.
As a graphic designer, Robyn creates and lays out advertisements for major retail outlets in Africa, ensuring tight deadlines are met without compromising on artistic flair, producing a product which grabs the readers' attention.
Robyn loves to help people create a life sensitive to their environment, operate ethically and provide social benefits in her everyday endeavours. It is no surprise that Robyn has taken an active interest in the Our World Education Trust. 'Our World Educational Trust' was developed out of a desire to increase the educational chances for women and girls around the world.
Robyn currently lives in Cape Town, South Africa where she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and close friends, hiking and leisurely walking along the Cape Peninsula's beautiful beaches and coast line. Robyn also enjoys working on other creative projects which her inspire others to follow their dreams.
