Success Stories

For the last two years Our World Educational Trust has supported, and promoted, the Bewl Water Sponsored Walk organised by Starfish Malawi. The event runs annually to raise awareness and funds to support the poor and vulnerable of the Glad Tidings Orphan Care (GTOC) community. The GTOC centre provides health, nursery education and safeguarding services for over 240 children alongside a number of other community development projects.

In 2015, 50 walkers attended the event raising an amazing £5000 for GTOC. However, this year saw a total of 77 walkers raising an estimated £9,000. Hopefully 2017 will continue this trend.
